Tracy McKenzie
Dr. McKenzie serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at The College at Southeastern where he has been teaching since 2005. He is also the Pastor of Small Groups and Discipleship at North Star Baptist Church in Youngsville, North Carolina. He grew up in rural Virgil, Kansas which he describes as “on the way to nowhere.” He graduated from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS where he played varsity football and was a member of Sigma Pi fraternity. Tracy received his Master of Divinity at Southeastern in 2003; and most recently his Ph.D. from Southeastern in 2006.
After college, Tracy worked in the business world for five years before serving as a campus minister from 1994 to 2004 first at the University of Nebraska, then Kansas State University and finally at the University of North Carolina. Tracy met and married Beth while each of them were ministering on campuses. He and Beth have been married since June, 1997 and have 4 tremendous boys which they homeschool. Tracy enjoys mentoring guys (including his sons), hunting, reading, and working outdoors.

Jonathan Catanzaro, Editor
Jonathan is a senior in the Master of Divinity program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His study focus is in Hermeneutics, Preaching, and Canonical Theology. He’s been on Staff at North Start Baptist Church since October 2007 as the Pastor of Worship, Missions, and Media . His greatest accomplishment in life is marrying his wife Elissa, and having son Josiah who was born in May of 2008. Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and History of Ideas from The College at Southeastern in May 2006.
In addition to being on staff at NSBC, Jonathan is the assistant to the director of Information Technology at SEBTS. He is a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Greg Heisler, Associate Professor of Preaching, as well as Dr. Tracy McKenzie. His hobbies include reading, technology (especially Apple branded), BMWs, and music.

Matthew Emerson
Matt is a second year doctoral student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. His concentration is in Biblical Theology, with a focus on Canonical and Homiletical Theology. He is especially interested in the intertextuality and con-textuality of the New Testament.
Matt is married to his wonderful wife Alicia, and they have a daughter, Grace Elisabeth, born in January of 2009. He is from Huntsville, Alabama and graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University in 2005 and an M.Div in Christian Ministry from SEBTS in 2008. Matt works at SEBTS as a faculty secretary (otherwise known as a man-cretary), and is the Minister of Education and Evangelism at Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Bunn, NC. He is also a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Steven P. Wade, pastor of PSBC and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at SEBTS. Matt enjoys hanging out with his family, Auburn Football, and reading. He is also an incredible Guitar Hero drummer (or maybe just mediocre).
